When the flexible rubber joint is used in the water pump inlet and outlet, it should be located on the side of the near water pump. A metal reducer joint should be installed between the pump and the pump, and it should be installed at the large diameter of the variable diameter.
High-level water supply or suspended water supply, the pipeline should be fixed on the hanger, bracket or anchor frame, and the joint should not be subjected to the pipe's own weight and axial force, otherwise the joint should be equipped with anti-pull device (the bearing force must be greater than the pipe axial direction force).
When installing the rubber joint, the screw of the bolt should extend to the outside of the joint, and the bolts on the end faces of each flange should be repeatedly tightened evenly by the method of diagonal pressure to prevent the pressure deviation. The wire joint should be tightened evenly with a standard wrench. Do not use the force bar to force the joint to slip, slide and break, and check it regularly to avoid loosening or water seepage.
The rubber joint should be re-pressurized and put into operation after the initial pressure (such as installation pressure test) or long-term deactivation.
Use or store rubber joints, avoid high temperature, ozone, oil and acid and alkali environment. Sunlight frames should be built for pipelines that are used outdoors or in the sun, and are strictly prohibited from exposure, rain, and wind erosion. It is strictly forbidden to paint and wrap the insulation material on the joint surface. Due to the aging problem of rubber products, it should be checked and replaced in time.
