The construction and the maintenance of PVC pipe

The connection method of PVC pipe mainly includes three kinds of sealant, bonding and flange connection. Pipes with diameters equal to or greater than 100 mm generally use aprons; pipes with diameters less than 100 mm generally use adhesive joints, and some use joints. Pipes typically use metal pipes when crossing sewers or other pipes. In this case, the plastic pipe and the metal pipe are flanged. The connection of the valve before and after the pipe is also flanged.

1. When the small diameter pipeline adopts solvent bonding, it is necessary to make small round corners of the socket to form a groove, and ensure that the fracture surface is flat and vertical, so as to ensure firm adhesion and avoid water leakage.

2. PVC pipe with a pipe diameter of 100 mm or more generally uses aprons. Before installation, personnel must be arranged to chamfer the pipe socket, and check whether the apron quality is qualified. The socket, apron, etc. must be wiped clean during installation.
