The connection methods of PVC pipe

The connection methods of PVC pipe mainly includes three kinds of sealant, bonding and flange connection. Pipes with diameters equal to or greater than 100 mm generally use aprons; pipes with diameters less than 100 mm generally use adhesive joints, and some use joints. Pipes typically use metal pipes when crossing sewers or other pipes. In this case, the plastic pipe and the metal pipe are flanged. The connection of the valve before and after the pipe is also flanged.

1. When the small diameter pipeline adopts solvent bonding, it is necessary to make small round corners of the socket to form a groove, and ensure that the fracture surface is flat and vertical, so as to be firmly bonded and avoid water leakage.

2. PVC pipes with diameter greater than or equal to 100 mm generally use aprons. Before installation, personnel must be arranged to chamfer the pipe socket, and check whether the apron quality is qualified. The socket, apron, etc. must be wiped clean during installation.

3. The trench excavation of traditional pipeline installations only requires that the pipeline be placed in the trench and can be sealed. When the original soil layer is not loosened, it is not necessary to pressurize the cushion.
