Pipeline installation method
1.Cutting
The straight tube can be easily cut with a simple tool such as a wheel-shaped plastic tube cutter, a chainsaw, or a tooth-shaped plastic tube cutting saw. When cutting, try to ensure that the tube is cut to be vertically flat, and the area where the tube section is more vertically bonded is larger.
2. Deburring
Use a chamfering tool or a file to remove the dander from inside and outside the tube end. It is recommended to apply a proper chamfer to allow the nozzle to easily enter the hub and reduce the chance of smearing the solvent glue on the fitting.
3. Accessories preparation
Wipe off dust and moisture on the joint surfaces of the pipe and fittings with a clean, dry cloth. Also check the test joints of the pipe and fittings. The UPVC pipe should be able to easily enter the fitting section 1/2 to 3/4 deep, and the CPVC pipe should be able to easily enter the fitting section 1/3 to 1/2 deep.
4. Apply cleaning agent
When the tube and the fitting are sleeved, the bonding surface of the glue needs to be softened by the cleaning agent to improve the solvent adhesion. The cleaning agent is used with a coating tool or a brush of about half the diameter of the tube (it is recommended not to use a rag) Evenly spread on the outside of the end of the tube and inside the fitting sleeve, the large-sized pipe joints or if necessary, increase the number and amount of application to ensure the softening effect of the surface.
5. Apply solvent glue
The solvent adhesive must be applied after the tube surface cleaner has been applied. The joint surface must be saturated and softened. The adhesive should be applied with a natural brush that is half the diameter of the tube. A thick layer of adhesive should be applied to the outside of the end of the tube, and a medium-thickness adhesive should be applied to the inner surface of the fitting. Tubes larger than DN50 are coated with a second layer of glue at their ends or relative to the number of applications.
6. Combination
Immediately after applying the adhesive, insert the tube into the fitting and rotate it 1/4 turn. The tube must be in contact with the bottom of the fitting. The interface combination should be fixed for 20 to 30 seconds to ensure initial engagement (joining of the fittings above DN150, using a special tool for the tensioner to assist clamping and standing for more than 15 minutes). The glue overflow around the joints of the tubes and fittings should be obvious. If the spilled adhesive around the knot is not connected, it means that the applied glue is insufficient. If this is the case, it is recommended that the accessories be discarded and the interface reassembled. Excessive excess of the adhesive can be wiped off with a rag.
